Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Cascadia Venture Works LLC (“Cascadia,” “we,” “us”) collects through cascadiaventureworks.com, and how we use it. It covers this corporate site only — each venture in our portfolio operates its own product and, where applicable, publishes its own privacy policy governing that product.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, primarily through our contact form: your name, email address, organization (if provided), the reason you selected for reaching out, and the message you send us. If you email us directly, we receive whatever information is in that email.

We do not require an account to use this site, and this site does not run advertising or analytics tracking. Our hosting and forms provider, Netlify, Inc., may automatically log standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) as part of operating the site and processing form submissions — this is Netlify’s infrastructure-level logging, not tracking we configure ourselves.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, route it to the right person at Cascadia or the relevant venture, and keep an internal record of the conversation. We do not use contact form submissions for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

How We Share Information

We share information with service providers who help us run this site and process form submissions — currently Netlify, Inc., which hosts the site and handles contact form submissions on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required to by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Cascadia, our ventures, or others.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies for advertising or analytics. Any cookies present are limited to what our hosting provider requires for basic site security and delivery.

Third-Party Links

This site links to the websites of individual portfolio ventures and, occasionally, other third parties. Those sites are operated independently and governed by their own privacy policies — we encourage you to review them before providing any information.

Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions and correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and for our internal recordkeeping, after which it may be deleted. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see “Your Choices” below.

Your Choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@cascadiaventureworks.com. We’ll respond to verified requests within a reasonable time.

Children’s Privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We rely on reputable third-party infrastructure to help keep information you send us secure, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
