Jason Alexander started Cascadia Venture Works around a simple habit: noticing the problems other people were quietly working around, and building the software to fix them properly. Rather than commit everything to one company and one thesis, that habit became a studio — a repeatable way to keep finding real gaps and building focused products to close them.

That same instinct runs through every venture in the portfolio, from trade compliance to intergenerational mentorship. Each one starts the same way: a real problem, a working solution, and a willingness to find out — quickly — whether it actually helps.
